Nail Your Pace. Win A Race (Event Details)!

News

Hey Folks,

Thanks for sigining up for Nail Your Pace. Win A Race!

Please read EVERYTHING below to insure you have a positive experience on Sunday.

You MUST specify your projected finish time for the 4.93 mile course we are running on Sunday and NOT the half marathon.

When you signed up, you were prompted with the question, ‘Indicate your ‘projected finish time’ for this run (4.93 miles) in hours/mins/secs (EG-55:25, 1:03:25, 35:03, etc)’.

The idea is to review the course map/elevation chart and indicate a ‘projected’ time for this 4.93 mile run. This does require some legwork and thought.

Some of you clearly indicated your projected finish time for the ‘half marathon’ and NOT the ‘actual’ run we’re covering on Sunday (4.93 miles). Some of you simply threw a number out there when you signed up 🙂

To be clear, to have a shot at winning a free entry to the United Airlines RNR SF Half, The Sasquatch Scramble 5K/10K/Half, OR a City Beer Run, you want this time to be as accurate as possible.

EG-If you indicate 45:00 for your projected finish time and manage to run ‘exactly’ 45:00 for the 4.93 mile run, you’ve got a pretty good shot at winning.

Whether you’re running at comfortable/conversational pace, your target ‘race pace’, or some other pace entirely, you want your projected finish time to reflect what you think you can ‘actually’ do!

If you’re concerned about the time you indicated when you signed up, you can edit/revise this information anytime prior to Sunday via Eventbrite.

Simply look at your order confirmation email. Scroll to the bottom of the email where it says ‘Your Account’. Click on ‘Log in’. You’ll be directed to your order info. where you can edit your projected finish time.
