We venture to a part of the city we have yet to explore this season! Saturday’s run starts/finishes at Running Wylder (1354 Castro St).

Here’s a short course description….
- Head East on Jersey Street towards Sanchez St. Turn RIGHT on Sanchez (.27 miles)
- Head down Sanchez to 30th St. Turn LEFT on 30th (.86 miles)
- Turn RIGHT on Chenery St (1.02 miles)
- Shortly thereafter, take a LEFT on Randall (1.2 miles) and a quick RIGHT on Arlington (1.25 miles)
- Follow Arlington to Bosworth and veer RIGHT (1.9 miles)
- Follow Bosworth to Elk St and turn RIGHT (2.3 miles)
- Veer LEFT onto the trail and run through Glen Canyon!
- Continue to Portola Street and turn RIGHT (3.38 miles)
- Veer RIGHT onto Clipper Street (3.5 miles)
- Follow Clippper to Castro St and turn LEFT. Finish at Running Wylder (4.3 miles)!

- Head down Sanchez to 30th St. Turn LEFT on 30th (.86 miles)

- Follow Bosworth to Elk St and turn RIGHT (2.3 miles)
- Veer LEFT onto the trail and run through Glen Canyon!
- Continue to Portola Street and turn LEFT (3.38 miles). Less than a 1/4 mile later, turn RIGHT onto Twin Peaks Blvd (3.6 miles)
- Follow (HILLY!) Twin Peaks Blvd to Tank Hill (5.15 miles). Take a breather, take in the AMAZING view, and head back via Twin Peaks Blvd to Portola.
- Turn LEFT on Portola (6.75 miles) and head towards Clipper.
- Veer RIGHT onto Clipper Street (7.09 miles)
- Follow Clippper to Castro St and turn LEFT (7.76 miles. Finish at Running Wylder (7.86 miles)!
While the long course is a ‘tad’ short of 8 miles, the course includes 1,200+ feet of ascent/descent! With this in mind, the level of effort associated with covering this course is akin to running 9-10 miles on the flat.
