DESCRIPTION

This route takes you from the Mission to Pacific heights and back. Along the way you will pass 4 parks: Dolores, Duboce, Alamo Square and Alta Vista. Each park has its own character and views.

TURNAROUNDS

• Start = Valencia / 22^nd St
• 4 mi = Pierce / Fell
• 5 mi = Pierce / Eddy
• 6 mi = Post / Steiner
• 7 mi = Alta Plaza

COURSE DIRECTIONS

• Start north on Valencia St
• Left on 18^th St
• Right on Sanchez St
• At the end turn left crossing Duboce Park
• Right at Pierce
• For 4 miles turn around on Pierce / Fell
• At Alamo Square park cross the park and continue on Pierce
• For 5 miles turn around on Pierce / Eddy
• Continue to Raymond Kimbell Playground
• Cross the Playground to Geary
• Right on Geary St
• Left on Fillmore St
• Left on Post
• For 6 miles turn around on Post / Steiner
• Right on Pierce till you reach Alta Vista park
• For 7 miles turnaround at Alta Vista Park
