We will be launching from the top of the staircase that leads down to the ballfield and heading WEST on Martin Luther King. Head WEST on MLK towards 9th Ave.
Follow MLK for roughly 1/2 a mile until you reach Stow Lake. Veer RIGHT onto Stow Lake Drive West and run around Stow Lake. Follow Stow Lake Drive until it intersects with JFK.
Turn LEFT on JFK and head towards Transverse. Once you reach Transverse, turn LEFT and head towards MLK. Shortly after you turn, you’ll reach the intersection of Transverse and Overlook Drive. This is TWO miles. Beginner runners turn around and head back the way you came for FOUR MILES!
Everyone else will continue running towards MLK. Turn RIGHT on MLK and continue running for roughly 1/2 a mile until you are directly across from Elk Glen Lake. Intermediate runners will turnaround here and head back the way you came for FIVE MILES!
Advanced and Race level runners will continue on MLK towards Sunset. Advanced level runners will turnaround at MLK and Chain of Lakes Drive East SIX MILES!
Race level runners will continue on MLK until you run into Lincoln. Turn around here and head back the way you came for SEVEN MILES!
