Coastal Adventure Run (4ish miles)

San Francisco is (arguably) the most beautiful city for running on the planet. There are countless beautiful paths, trails, and roads to explore. Similarly, there are staggeringly amazing and inspiring views one can take in whilst logging a few miles.

We’ve got some road, some (very friendly) trail, and some spectacular views lined up for this adventure! Click the link below for a look at the Strava course map…

Adventure Run (4ish miles) Course Map

Here’s a little course description for you as well….

  • Launch from outside of the Walt Disney Family Museum and head towards Lincoln. Turn LEFT onto Lincoln and continue running on the pedestrian path (.06 M)
  • Follow the pedestrian path past the cemetery on the left. Shortly thereafter, veer RIGHT/DOWNHILL on the paved pedestrian path (.51 M)
  • Follow the paved path towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Follow the path UNDERNEATH the bridge and connect with Coastal Trail on the other side and continue running on the trail (1.58M)
  • Take in some AMAZING views as you run a short stretch to a small footbridge. Continue running along the coast (1.78 miles).
  • At the top of the Batteries/Bluffs staircase (2.06 miles), turn around and head back the way you came for 4ish miles!
