Wildcard Workout Week #4 – Golden Gate Park Mixer (4M)

Fantastic effort tackling our first wildcard hills and stairs last week. You all crushed it.

But good news, this week’s wildcard run is going to be a breeze… well mostly. For Tuesday we’re keeping it local and soaking in the pre-spring beauty of Golden Gate Park. Part road, part trail, this ~4 mile route includes a traverse along the picturesque Phil Arnold Trail.

Now I know what you’re thinking: “Can Coach Toby actually plan a less hilly run?” Well friends you’re in luck! Although not entirely flat (hey we’re in San Francisco after all), it’s definitely much much less hilly than last week. Think of it as a gentle rolling adventure.

Meetup: We’ll meet at our regular spot at 6:30 pm at 7th Avenue and MLK Jr Drive.

Bonus: This will be our first run after daylight savings so we should have a little more light in the park. Road shoes will work great for this route.
