Wildcard Workout Week #3 – The Plot Thickens (3.5 Mile Progression Run + Green Apple Books Collab)

It’s happening again. We’re teaming up with Green Apple Books for our third Book Club Run! But first, congrats to all who conquered a weekend FULL of races, from the Napa and Livermore Marathons to the YMCA Chinatown Lunar New Year Run. Whether you raced, paced, cheered, or logged your own miles, solid work all around.

Last week we tackled our first progression run, which also doubled as our season’s first hill workout. This week the terrain changes (flatter with rolling hills) but the approach stays the same. Each mile builds in effort, getting progressively more challenging, with a half-mile cooldown to finish.

If you’re in need of a recovery run instead, join us for a relaxed 3.5 miles at a comfortable pace.

Meetup (and post run social): Tue 6:30 PM at Green Apple Books. 1231 9th Avenue btw Lincoln & Irving. You can leave personal items at the shop. Don’t forget headlamps, reflective gear, and a little cash. Green Apple is extending us 20% off of everything, not just books.
