Our ‘Coastal’ flavored adventure run starts/ends at the Beach Chalet (1000 Great Highway)

If you’re going short, you’ll spend some quality time on Land’s End Trail taking in some epic views! If you’re going LONG, you’re also getting some quality time on Lobos Creek Trail, Park Trail, Bay Area Ridge Trail, and more!

Coastal Adventure Run (4ish/9ish)

And, here’s a description for you….

• We’ll launch from Beach Chalet, cross the street and head towards the Cliff House (.10 miles)
• Crest the hill and turn LEFT in front of Land’s End Lookout (.93 mile)
• Connect with Land’s End Trail and head towards Sea Cliff. (1.04 miles).
• Follow Land’s End Trail until it terminates at El Camino Del Mar (2.42 miles). Folks tackling the ‘short’ course will turn around here and head back the way you came!
• If you’re tackling the ‘long’ course, continue running on Camino Del Mar to Howard Rd and turn RIGHT to access the Lobos Creek Trailhead. (3.17 miles).
• Follow Lobos Creek Trail to Battery Caufield and turn LEFT/UPHILL and head towards Immigrant Point Overlook.(3.71 miles)
• Continue up Battery Caufield to Washington. Cross Washington and continue on the trail towards Immigrant Point Overlook (4.08 miles).
• Turn RIGHT at Central Magazine Road and connect with Bay Area Ridge Trail (4.42 miles).
• Follow Bay Area Ridge Trail to Park Blvd. Cross Park Blvd and turn RIGHT/UPHILL on Park Trail (4.93 miles). Cross Washington and continue running downhill through the golf course.
• At the staircase turn RIGHT and ascend the stairs to Cemetery Overlook Path (5.41 miles).
• At Battery Caufield, turn LEFT/DOWNHILL (5.66 miles).
• After just less than a 1/10th of a mile, turn RIGHT onto the pedestrian path and take a quick RIGHT onto Lobos Creek Trail (5.73 miles).
• Follow Lobos Creek Trail back to Camino Del Mar and turn LEFT onto Camino Del Mar (6.28 miles).
• Follow Camino Del Mar to Land’s End Trail and continue running on Land’s End Trail (7.02 miles).
• Run past Land’s End Lookout and turn RIGHT on Point Lobos Ave (8.53 miles).
• Connect with the Great Highway at mile 8.84 and continue towards the finish at Beach Chalet (9.35 miles)!
