Here’s a course description for you as well…..

Course Description & TBT Directions:

  • Launch from A Runner’s Mind and head WEST on Sacramento towards Cherry Street.
  • Turn RIGHT on Cherry and head towards Jackson Street (.2 miles)
  • Cross the street and turn LEFT on Jackson Street (.4 miles)
  • Take a quick right on Arguello and head through Arguello Gate (.5 miles)
  • Take a sharp RIGHT onto Bay Area Ridge Trail and follow across W. Pacific Ave. Turn left after crossing W. Pacific Ave & continue on Bay Area Ridge Trail (.6 miles)
  • Shortly after turning left you will cross Arguello and continue on Bay Area Ridge Trail (look for chalk and flour markings) (.7 miles)
  • You’ll follow Bay Area Ridge Trail past the Spire, across Washington, and across Park Blvd (1.6 miles)
  • Roughly 200 meters later look for flour markings on your RIGHT and continue following Bay Area Ridge Trail to Rob Hill Campground (it will be on your left) (1.7 miles)
  • At Rob Hill Campground, run on the paved path for a brief stretch and turn LEFT onto Washington Boulevard (2.1 miles)
  • Run along Washington for 1/10th of a mile and cross over to Immigrant Point Overlook for an EPIC view & descend the stairs to the left to Lincoln Blvd (2.5 miles). If you want to run 5 miles, turn around here and head back the way you came for 5ish miles!
  • If you want to run 8ish miles, turn RIGHT and connect with Batteries to Bluffs trail. Follow Batteries to Bluffs Trail to Coastal Trail and continue on Coastal towards the Golden Gate Bridge (3 miles).
  • Run under the bridge and connect with Battery E Road/Presidio Promenade and head towards Long Avenue. Take a hairpin LEFT and descend Long Avenue towards the Warming Hut (4 miles).
  • Grab some water, use the restroom, and turn around at the Warming Hut (4.2ish miles) and head back the way you came to ARM for 8ish miles!
