While this run is ‘just’ 5ish miles, it’s a MIGHTY 5ish miles that includes trails, hills, nature therapy, some amazing views, and a veritable tour of the Presidio!

Adventure Run (5ish miles)

Here’s a description of the course….

• Head up Montgomery towards Moraga. Turn LEFT on Moraga and head towards the Presidio Inn (.2 miles).
• Turn right onto Funston & connect to Ecology Trail from the parking lot behind Inn at the Presidio (.4 miles).
• Follow Ecology Trail to Ecology Trail intersection (1.04 miles)
• Turn RIGHT and then turn right on trail parallel to Arguello (1.1 miles)
• Turn left at the crosswalk and continue onto Bay Area Ridge Trail (1.2 miles)
• Cross pedestrian crosswalk at Deems/Arguello. Continue running on the right shoulder (1.52 miles)
• Veer RIGHT onto Nauman & head towards Bay Area Ridge Trail (1.62 miles)
• Connect with Bay Area Ridge Trail and head towards Amatury Loop (1.7 miles)
• Follow Bay Area Ridge Trail to the parking lot of Rob Hill Campground (2.55 miles)
• Turn LEFT at Washington and continue running on the shoulder of Washington towards the Presidio Golf Course (2.88 miles)
• Veer RIGHT onto Park Trail and follow downhill towards (3.26 miles)
• Take a hairpin LEFT at the trail split and continue on Park Trail towards the Presidio Golf Course (3.66 miles)
• Cross Arguello, connect with Bay Area Ridge Trail, & follow to Inspiration Point (4.55 miles).
• Take in the view, take a selfie, descend the stairs to Ecology Trail, & turn LEFT onto Ecology Trail(4.76)
• Follow Ecology Trail back to Moraga and turn LEFT on Moraga (5.33 miles).
• Follow Moraga to Montgomery and turn RIGHT on Montgomery. Finish in front of Walt Disney! (5.74 miles)

We will do our best to mark this course with chalk (paved roads/trails) and flour (trail segments), but PLEASE REVIEW THE MAP AND COURSE DESCRIPTION!
