Greetings all. I hope you enjoyed our Pride celebration run last week. If you’re seeking a workout that will enhance your speed and endurance, or if you simply want an easy recovery after your weekend long run, this week’s session offers the perfect opportunity.

Before we commence, I’ll provide guidance and instructions for the workout. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between two options: a 5K (3.1 miles) run, either with or without incorporating a “fartlek” component. Fartlek, a Swedish term meaning “speed play,” involves alternating between fast and slow paces during your run. This method is suitable and highly recommended for runners of all skill levels.

Come join your teammates for an invigorating workout session that will challenge and improve your running abilities. Whether you’re aiming to increase your pace or seeking a refreshing recovery run, this workout will cater to your specific needs.
