Tuesday Wildcard Workout — I Found My Thrill on Strawberry Hill (4-5M)

Training on Golden Gate Park’s beautiful Strawberry Hill is a sure fire way to build leg and core muscle strength, stamina, and improve your ABCs (agility, balance and coordination). Join me and your teammates for Run Club’s first 2023 trip up the hill!

We’ll do a 1 mile group warm-up jog over to Golden Gate Park. After arriving at Strawberry Hill, I’ll provide a quick overview of the workout before sending you on your way. The workout will involve 1/2 mile Strawberry Hill climbs, followed by 2-3 minutes of downhill recovery. We’ll return to MLK/7th as a group after we’re done.

Accessible to runners of all levels, this 4-5 mile workout run is a combines road (warm-up and cool down) and trail (hill repeats). Road shoes are just fine as the trails are well-groomed, but wear your trail shoes if you got them.
