Run Club Wildcard Workout – Thirds Progression Run (4 Miler)

News

For this run, you will start off easy and gradually increase your effort over each mile.

Mile 1 – slow, warm up (7th & MLK start to Tranverse)
Mile 2 – speed up to a comfortable medium effort (Transverse to Sunset turnaround)
Mile 3 – maintain effort of mile 2. Slight uphill so your speed may decrease. This is okay. Focus on your perceived effort. (Sunset to Transverse)
Mile 4 – progressively increase your speed and effort to a comfortably hard pace that you can maintain for a mile for this last segment (Transverse to start)

Directions:
This is a simple out and back course along MLK Jr Drive. Your 2M turnaround will be at MLK & Sunset Blvd.
