Recovery ‘Trail’ Run (4ish miles)-7/16/22

Events

This route is a total blast! It includes some quality time on some of the most gorgeous trails San Francisco has to offer in the Presidio. It also includes an EPIC view at the turnaround point (Immigrant Point Overlook).

If you’ve never run on trails before, don’t worry. These trails are manageable even if you’ve never spent any time on trails.

When running on trails, I recommend (generally) keeping your eyes trained 5-7 feet in front of you to identify the ‘path of least resistance’. While these trails are NOT super technical, there are ‘some’ rocks and debris you want to be aware of when you’re out there.

There are also ‘some’ hills (aka-developmental opportunities). As I say all the time, dial back your pace/level of effort to manage said development opportunities!
