Hallelujah, they’re back! Trail running has been a staple of our Run Club’s wildcard runs. They let us escape the mundanity of the road, pump up our fitness gains, and connect with the great outdoors. Trifecta!
After a year+ lockdown, I thought to offer you something extra special to kick-off our first trail run of the season. Golden Gate Park is home to a plethora of beautiful and lesser known forested trails, and tonight you’ll get to enjoy some of them.
This week’s 4.5 mile run is a combination of pavement and trail. Mostly non-technical and fairly flat, this run is perfect for anyone new to the trails and those of you who have been waiting all winter to kick up some dirt.
Please review the course map prior to the run. I plan to put down chalk and flour markings Thursday morning to help guide your way. I will also go over the route prior to start of the run. Please be on time. See you then!
