Saturday Long Run East Bay (5-8 miles)-06/04/16

We’ll get things rolling with a warmup jog and range of motion drills.

Once we’re warmed up, you’ll head out onto the Lafayette/Moraga Regional Trail running parallel to St. Mary’s Road.

Once you reach the intersection of Lafayette/Moraga Regional Trail & S Lucille Ln, you will have logged 2.5 miles. Look for a ‘RC5’ in chalk on the ground. Beginners will turn around here and head back to A Runner’s Mind for 5 MILES.

Everyone else will continue running along the trail. 1/2 a mile later near the intersection of St Marys Road & Cattle Chute Road you will see a ‘RC6’ in chalk on the ground. Intermediate runners will turn around here and head back to A Runner’s Mind for 6 MILES.

Advanced/Race level runners will continue along the trail for another 1/2 mile. Look for a ‘RC7’ in chalk on the ground. Advanced level runners will turn around here and head back to A Runner’s Mind for 7 MILES.

Race level runners will continue for another 1/2 mile. Near the intersection of St Marys Road & St Marys Parkway, you will see a ‘RC8’ in chalk on the ground. Turn around here and head back to A Runner’s Mind for 8 MILES.
